Elazig FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Fikri Gilşah scored to the left of an out of position Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Polat Tanak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cüneyt Akboy was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Remzi Algın hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fikri Gilşah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cüneyt Akboy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eser Tayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Elazig FK's goal looked a bit too open when Peyami Saltık came free, but Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eser Tayman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cüneyt Akboy having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Eser Tayman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cüneyt Akboy. Eser Tayman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, Eser Tayman notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of AYG SK's Cüneyt Akboy. Cüneyt Akboy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elazig FK's Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyami Saltık in the 78th minute of play. Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyami Saltık in the 82nd minute of play. Cüneyt Akboy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sezai Şahistan. After 90 played minutes Elazig FK got a freekick which was hit by Lütfi Ruhittin. After having played for 91 minutes, Fikri Gilşah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYG SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fikri Gilşah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürcan Nadir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Elazig FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
