Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) AYG SK's Peyami Saltık started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Zekai Tüzmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doncaster City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AYG SK the free kick. After 3 played minutes Doncaster City got a freekick which was hit by Zekai Tüzmen. 5 minutes into the game, AYG SK's Fikri Gilşah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rauf Tancan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Fikri Gilşah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rauf Tancan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rauf Tancan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürcan Nadir in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Peyami Saltık left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AYG SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Reşat Başeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekai Tüzmen in the 26th minute of play forced AYG SK's goalkeeper Cüneyt Akboy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cüneyt Akboy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Bozdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doncaster City's Rauf Tancan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikri Gilşah in the 32nd minute of play. When Mustafa Orhan Hünkar fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doncaster City's protests and gave Mustafa Orhan Hünkar a yellow card for diving instead. Rauf Tancan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürcan Nadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Doncaster City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zekai Tüzmen to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Gürcan Nadir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rauf Tancan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AYG SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Reşat Başeski scored to the left of an out of position Cüneyt Akboy, making the score, 1-4. After the first half AYG SK were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cüneyt Akboy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuzey Rical, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Kuzey Rical fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doncaster City's protests and gave Kuzey Rical a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Doncaster City getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kuzey Rical hit a great ball. Cüneyt Akboy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ömer Bozdoğan's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Zekai Tüzmen hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Zekai Tüzmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Akboy having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fikri Gilşah got free with Rauf Tancan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of AYG SK booed when Doncaster City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Bozdoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fikri Gilşah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rauf Tancan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Peyami Saltık. After 79 played minutes Doncaster City got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Bozdoğan. After a rather tough play, AYG SK's Arif Derinöz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Kuzey Rical received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cüneyt Akboy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cankut Behram's late challenge caught a AYG SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cankut Behram helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Cankut Behram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AYG SK's Cüneyt Akboy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reşat Başeski in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AYG SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
