Christoffer Rabben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahrettin Tanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Tokatspor's goalkeeper Christoffer Rabben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Russel Magrath. After taking down the ball on Kayserispor's corner Göktan Mutluhan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christoffer Rabben quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tokatspor's zone, Russel Magrath stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Rabben came out of the goal and Russel Magrath tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Ardahan Gökekin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christoffer Rabben. The goal made the score 2-0. Christoffer Rabben was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Russel Magrath capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Russel Magrath really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 30th minute, Paşa Uğurata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Paşa Uğurata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christoffer Rabben. That made the score 4-0 in the 37 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Russel Magrath put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christoffer Rabben. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Russel Magrath to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Paşa Uğurata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kayserispor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Christoffer Rabben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahrettin Tanır in the 57th minute of play. Resul Nusret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedri Başbuğoğlu in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Latif Acarbay got free with Resul Nusret in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tokatspor booed when Kayserispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turabi Topdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Rabben was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christoffer Rabben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russel Magrath in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Kayserispor's Resul Nusret got control of the ball when Latif Acarbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Resul Nusret was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Latif Acarbay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Latif Acarbay really showed his touch with that goal: 8-3. 96 minutes into the game, Russel Magrath cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-3. Christoffer Rabben was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Kayserispor were the better team. Kayserispor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
