Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baturhan Temel in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldıray İğdemir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Icerenköy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Azmi Helvacı hit a great ball. If Murat Umman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Icerenköy's Azmi Helvacı got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Baturhan Temel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icerenköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baturhan Temel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Icerenköy's Maximo Matei got control of the ball when Murat Umman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Sakaryaspor's Ozan Tacal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximo Matei. Maximo Matei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Baturhan Temel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray İğdemir having to interfere. Murat Umman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Maximo Matei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Azmi Helvacı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icerenköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azmi Helvacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baturhan Temel made a kick off. Maximo Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozan Tacal in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Baturhan Temel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ahmet Göktuğ Kayral hit a great ball. Azmi Helvacı took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yıldıray İğdemir. Sakaryaspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximo Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Umman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. İhsan Orsel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yıldıray İğdemir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Icerenköy's Maximo Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan Tacal in the 69th minute of play. Ozan Tacal struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Maximo Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakaryaspor. 77 minutes into the game, Sakaryaspor's Ozan Tacal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Matei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sakaryaspor's Yıldıray İğdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturhan Temel in the 84th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Sakaryaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selmi Tanrıverdi to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Umman, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
