Rafet Onsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Elhan having to interfere. A collision led to Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ayhan Akbatur hit a great ball. When Rafet Onsoy fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feneryolu FK's protests and gave Rafet Onsoy a yellow card for diving instead. Rafet Onsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Feneryolu FK's Üzeyir Paşa got control of the ball when Birol Baykır tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafet Onsoy came free, but Aybars Elhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaman Kemalettin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Baha Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Elhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feneryolu FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hüsnü Altıncığlu in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Feneryolu FK's corner Hüsnü Altıncığlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aybars Elhan quite easily take care of the ball. Rafet Onsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aybars Elhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafet Onsoy came free, but Aybars Elhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Üzeyir Paşa was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Selman Mete capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Selman Mete really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aybars Elhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafet Onsoy in the 32nd minute of the match. Baha Şirvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaman Kemalettin to maneuver through the defense. Feneryolu FK's Baha Şirvan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birol Baykır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aybars Elhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baha Şirvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tacettin Nusret during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute Selman Mete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Üzeyir Paşa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Selman Mete made the kick off in the second half. Selman Mete hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rafet Onsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aybars Elhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ booed when Feneryolu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacettin Nusret didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Birol Baykır mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ and the Feneryolu FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Birol Baykır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Rafet Onsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Elhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafet Onsoy struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Aybars Elhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feneryolu FK. Feneryolu FK's Üzeyir Paşa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selman Mete in the 67th minute of play. Üzeyir Paşa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selman Mete in the 68th minute of play. Birol Baykır took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Üzeyir Paşa. Üzeyir Paşa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Aybars Elhan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arkın Adak. Baha Şirvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Rafet Onsoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aybars Elhan. Rafet Onsoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After having played for 92 minutes, Rafet Onsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feneryolu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafet Onsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Feneryolu FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
