İlyas Tolga Afak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray İğdemir having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzalp Ulus in the 16th minute of play forced Sakaryaspor's goalkeeper Yıldıray İğdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when İlyas Tolga Afak got free with Yıldıray İğdemir in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Müfit Uygunel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan Tacal in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökçe Kongur got free with Yıldıray İğdemir in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Ozan Tacal. FENERBAHÇE 1899's İlyas Tolga Afak got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mümtaz Üstam in the 41st minute of play forced Sakaryaspor's goalkeeper Yıldıray İğdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kıraç Onaran to make the kick off. Yıldıray İğdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ahmet Göktuğ Kayral hit a great ball.
