Maximo Matei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugay İdrisoğlu in the 11th minute of play forced Icerenköy's goalkeeper Maximo Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Azmi Haspolatlı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Matei. But to his dismay, Kıraç Onaran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Maximo Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlyas Tolga Afak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Aktuğ Süphan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE 1899's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktuğ Süphan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Icerenköy's goal looked a bit too open when Kıraç Onaran came free, but Maximo Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sami Ciner took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Matei. Maximo Matei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Olcay Taluy hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

After 54 minutes of play, FENERBAHÇE 1899's İlyas Tolga Afak made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Matei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Kıraç Onaran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kıraç Onaran got free with Maximo Matei in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximo Matei was a little too slow when Mümtaz Üstam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-8. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Kıraç Onaran took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Maximo Matei to make any attempt to save it. 70 minutes into the game, İlyas Tolga Afak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Maximo Matei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Matei came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by FENERBAHÇE 1899's İlyas Tolga Afak. But to his dismay, İlyas Tolga Afak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Maximo Matei was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Kıraç Onaran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kıraç Onaran really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. 84 minutes into the game, Kıraç Onaran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Maximo Matei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Kıraç Onaran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximo Matei. The goal made the score 0-16. 95 minutes into the match, Icerenköy's goalkeeper Maximo Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kıraç Onaran. Maximo Matei made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Aktuğ Süphan sent off a good shot on target.
