Kayhan Akgüns short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Maximo Matei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jafta Mandela's late challenge caught a Ferizli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jafta Mandela helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes, Ferizli's Göktan Mutluhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Matei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferizli reached it. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Jafta Mandela notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ferizli's Resul Revha. Resul Revha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Icerenköy's attentive Olcay Taluy managed to snatch the ball when Fazıl Uluberk made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. When Azmi Helvacı fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Icerenköy's protests and gave Azmi Helvacı a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Icerenköy got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Helvacı.
