Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cengizhan Suavi took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of Denizlispor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Pürmüz FK's Tekin Ayaydın got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of İlhami Kamuran. 14 minutes into the match, Abdullatif Taybars had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necip Pekin. Pürmüz FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdullatif Taybars was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 17th minute Fikri Eymen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necip Pekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Fikri Eymen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Necip Pekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Pürmüz FK's Teofilo Gala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of İlhami Kamuran. That made the score 2-2 after 23 minutes of play. Necip Pekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullatif Taybars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pürmüz FK's Necip Pekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cengizhan Suavi in the 32nd minute of play. Necip Pekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berker Dürüst in the 36th minute of play. İlhami Kamuran was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Tekin Ayaydın capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tekin Ayaydın really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Gala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Necip Pekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Suavi in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Denizlispor's goal looked a bit too open when Tekin Ayaydın came free, but İlhami Kamuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İlhami Kamuran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Gala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hakkı Onur Usbay kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The long shot by Cemil Uluçkan in the 78th minute really tested Necip Pekin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tekin Ayaydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Kamuran having to interfere. İlhami Kamuran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Gala's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 94th minute Teofilo Gala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlhami Kamuran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Pürmüz FK's Tekin Ayaydın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İlhami Kamuran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.
