Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Selmi Yağız started the match with the kick off. Feyyaz Gökkır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Atıf İkbal made a huge save. Ali Haydar Reşat came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Adana Sk's Nurkan Zeynur. But to his dismay, Nurkan Zeynur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahadır Kambay in the 13th minute of play forced Adana Sk's goalkeeper Atıf İkbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Köse's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kazım Müşfik in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Adana Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğaner Yalazay to maneuver through the defense. Atıf İkbal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahadır Kambay in the 16th minute. Atıf İkbal made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hayri Orkut sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Yavuzalp Zabit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf İkbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Köse's Yavuzalp Zabit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atıf İkbal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Atıf İkbal made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Feyyaz Gökkır sent off a good shot on target. After 32 played minutes Köse got a freekick which was hit by Kazım Müşfik. Ejder Nesip got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ender Güleryüz. Yavuzalp Zabit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Atıf İkbal made a huge save. With a little luck, Adana Sk's Atıf İkbal got control of the ball when Hayri Orkut tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Doğaner Yalazay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adana Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köse the free kick. Doğaner Yalazay kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Yavuzalp Zabit dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atıf İkbal, 2-1. After having played for 47 minutes, Bahadır Kambay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahadır Kambay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bahadır Kambay was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Adana Sk getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ediz Bucak hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Kazım Müşfik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atıf İkbal skillfully saved the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Adana Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadır Kambay came free, but Atıf İkbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hayri Orkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediz Bucak during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Köse booed when Adana Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediz Bucak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atıf İkbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahadır Kambay in the 60th minute of play. Yavuzalp Zabit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Atıf İkbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ediz Bucak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazım Müşfik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atıf İkbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Ender Güleryüz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf İkbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adana Sk's Atıf İkbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayri Orkut in the 93rd minute of play. Feyyaz Gökkır succeeded in the game's 98th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Köse fully deserved thier win.
