In the 24th minute of the match İzzettin Beybolat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İsmail Hakkı Tanacan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taksim's supporters rose to their feet, but Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmail Hakkı Tanacan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Berkan Yahya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BEYLER FK and the Taksim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berkan Yahya hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of BEYLER FK booed when Taksim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. İzzettin Beybolat didn't get a good kick on the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hikmet Saatçi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Şevket Pekalp made a throw-in which Hikmet Saatçi played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hikmet Saatçi got free with İsmail Hakkı Tanacan in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özdemir İlyas's late challenge caught a BEYLER FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özdemir İlyas helped the player get up and apologised. Özdemir İlyas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Hikmet Saatçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Mehmet Fatih Turkay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ünsal Gökkır was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bayındır Şahinter made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk immediately put the ball in play. With his leg İsmail Hakkı Tanacan managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Taksim's Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 78th minute, Mehmet Fatih Turkay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 87 minutes into the game, Hikmet Saatçi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of İsmail Hakkı Tanacan. Hikmet Saatçi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Derviş Akoğul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
