After 28 minutes of play, Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK's Fabinho Pombal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Barış Namdar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabinho Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Eski Açık Sarı Desene getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Güvenç Aktan hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Gustaw Szkaradek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Barış Namdar. Eski Açık Sarı Desene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaw Szkaradek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merih Karadağ in the 45th minute of play forced Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK's goalkeeper Cesur Polatkılıç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Eski Açık Sarı Desene's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Pombal came free, but Mustafa Barış Namdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesur Polatkılıç made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Çağrı Saner sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merih Karadağ to make the kick off. Mustafa Barış Namdar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Barış Namdar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Szkaradek in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK booed when Eski Açık Sarı Desene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Szkaradek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Barış Namdar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Eski Açık Sarı Desene defense, Fabinho Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Barış Namdar. The Eski Açık Sarı Desene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Barış Namdar should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berkin Abay got free with Mustafa Barış Namdar in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK FK played a much better game than Eski Açık Sarı Desene and deserved their victory. The Eski Açık Sarı Desene players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
