Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doğan Akgün kicked off to start the match. Ünsal Gökkır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Akgün in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Derman Tonguç made a precise shot to the right of Ünsal Gökkır. Taksim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Derman Tonguç fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Taksim booed when Iscehisar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atabek Değirmencioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cevat Toygun. Iscehisar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Iscehisar's Cevat Toygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hikmet Saatçi in the 30th minute of play. Cevat Toygun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Hikmet Saatçi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iscehisar's Cevat Toygun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk in the 33rd minute of play forced Iscehisar's goalkeeper Cevat Toygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şevket Pekalp hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Cevat Toygun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk in the 41st minute of play. Cevat Toygun came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Taksim's Derviş Akoğul. But to his dismay, Derviş Akoğul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Cevat Toygun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Iscehisar got a freekick which was hit by Yüce Eraltay. In the 67th minute, Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ünsal Gökkır came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Iscehisar's Doğan Akgün. But to his dismay, Doğan Akgün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. If Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute Hikmet Saatçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevat Toygun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cevat Toygun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk in the 78th minute. Cevat Toygun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hikmet Saatçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gazanfer Özcan Soysaltürk got free with Cevat Toygun in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 minutes, Derviş Akoğul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taksim and the Iscehisar players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Taksim getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Derviş Akoğul hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Doğan Akgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ünsal Gökkır was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Taksim got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Akoğul. Cevat Toygun made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Fahri Gagauz sent off a good shot on target. Iscehisar's Cevat Toygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hikmet Saatçi in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Taksim's Derviş Akoğul dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Taksim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
