Taci Cespan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hıdır Mengübay having to interfere. Veli Ümit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lütfi Tankut in the 10th minute of play. Taci Cespan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taci Cespan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hıdır Mengübay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veli Ümit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Başeğmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Lütfi Tankut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 minutes, Arif Başeğmez made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sivasli's Veli Ümit tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The wind increased when Taci Cespan made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Menekse booed when Sivasli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şansal Orgun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arda Baybars Canıtez fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menekse's protests and gave Arda Baybars Canıtez a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Menekse got a freekick which was hit by Arda Baybars Canıtez. Arif Başeğmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arif Başeğmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sivasli's Alaaddin Durucan got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ahmet Reha Çakıroğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Veli Ümit made a huge save. 2-3 became the score in the 67th minute when Lütfi Tankut elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Veli Ümit made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lütfi Tankut sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Lütfi Tankut notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Sivasli's Veli Ümit. Veli Ümit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th match minute, Menekse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davut Zeyrek to maneuver through the defense. Arif Başeğmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veli Ümit didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. 91 minutes into the match, Mustafa Başeskioğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hıdır Mengübay. Menekse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Başeskioğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. In the 94th match minute, Sivasli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baha Arpacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. The Sivasli fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Menekse were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
