Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Lütfi Tankut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menekse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lütfi Tankut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ortaköy's Ahmet Reha Orkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Başeğmez in the 4th minute of play. Hıdır Mengübay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürol Böke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Ahmet Reha Orkan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 18th match minute, Ortaköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aktaç Ragıp to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 22 in the game by Lütfi Tankut from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Reha Orkan managed to make a qualified save. Ortaköy's players were relieved. In the 26thth minute of the game Ceyhun Birsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menekse's Hıdır Mengübay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lütfi Tankut's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Reha Orkan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ahmet Reha Orkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfi Tankut in the 30th minute of the match. Hıdır Mengübay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürol Böke went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 41 played minutes Ortaköy got a freekick which was hit by Aktaç Ragıp. Ahmet Reha Orkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Başeğmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Reha Orkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Başeğmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceyhun Birsoy made a kick off. Ortaköy's Ahmet Reha Orkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfi Tankut in the 51st minute of play. Menekse's Arif Başeğmez got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ortaköy's Ceyhun Birsoy in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menekse's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmet Reha Orkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lütfi Tankut in the 59th minute of play. If Lütfi Tankut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürol Böke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sezen Cezri came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Menekse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sezen Cezri couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Arda Baybars Canıtez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menekse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ortaköy the free kick. Arda Baybars Canıtez kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ortaköy's Ahmet Reha Orkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfi Tankut in the 79th minute of play. Lütfi Tankut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Orkan having to interfere. Ahmet Reha Orkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Başeğmez in the 82nd minute of play. Aktaç Ragıp was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
