Sapanca FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Stenshøj in the 8th minute. Ricardo Stenshøj made a great header on Sapanca FK's corner, it was just that Arguvan's Alexander Herrera managed to reach the ball for a save. Dalmacio Zamora kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Hakan Karabasov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alexander Herrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Stenshøj received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander Herrera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Stenshøj slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. If Hugon Piechna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st match minute, Sapanca FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bekir Şendoğan to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Stenshøj in the 27th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sapanca FK's Nicolas Anelka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Herrera. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Arguvan's goal looked a bit too open when Hakan Karabasov came free, but Alexander Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batı Okcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hakkı Hakim in the 42nd minute of play forced Sapanca FK's goalkeeper Reese Barclay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakan Karabasov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugon Piechna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mehmet Hakkı Hakim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reese Barclay. Sapanca FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Hakkı Hakim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alexander Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Anelka, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Hakan Karabasov charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakan Karabasov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hakan Karabasov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Georg Ardlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Arguvan booed when Sapanca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Stenshøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Anelka, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Ahmet İlke Yamaç with Hugon Piechna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 唐川坚 kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Sapanca FK's Nicolas Anelka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Herrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Stenshøj in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Sapanca FK's Nicolas Anelka made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Ricardo Stenshøj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sapanca FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Sapanca FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
