After a defensive mix-up in Emniyettepe SK's zone, Kahraman Turan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa İzzet Alptekin came out of the goal and Kahraman Turan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. .......'s Basri Yalavaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertunç Hatim in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Berkay Kornes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basri Yalavaç showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Kahraman Turan fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored .......'s protests and gave Kahraman Turan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, ....... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kahraman Turan to maneuver through the defense. Zafer Erokay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa İzzet Alptekin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by .......'s Reha Vaha. But to his dismay, Reha Vaha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zafer Erokay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa İzzet Alptekin having to interfere. Basri Yalavaç came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Emniyettepe SK's Anıl Okaner. But to his dismay, Anıl Okaner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fevzi Kandemir took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basri Yalavaç. Basri Yalavaç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Basri Yalavaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fevzi Kandemir in the 35th minute of play. Basri Yalavaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Tanak in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Ensar Tanak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Basri Yalavaç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Emniyettepe SK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fevzi Kandemir hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Arcan Ekinci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa İzzet Alptekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, ....... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu to maneuver through the defense. If Kahraman Turan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Okaner was the one to do the kick off. Anıl Okaner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basri Yalavaç having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ertunç Hatim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basri Yalavaç. That made the score 1-5 in the 62 minute of play. .......'s Basri Yalavaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ....... from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ....... booed when Emniyettepe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacettin Ayberk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basri Yalavaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Okaner in the 88th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Emniyettepe SK! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for ........ Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mustafa İzzet Alptekin. 2-5. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ....... lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
