Kadir Mesut hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Yılmaz Onuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kadir Mesut fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eskisehirspor's protests and gave Kadir Mesut a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Eskisehirspor booed when Don Carleone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Nabi Tolgunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yılmaz Onuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Yiğitcan Onursan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdem İmam in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiğitcan Onursan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yılmaz Onuk in the 31st minute of play forced Don Carleone's goalkeeper Yiğitcan Onursan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Yılmaz Onuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yiğitcan Onursan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Eskisehirspor getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fehmi Secaattin hit a great ball. Erdem İmam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğitcan Onursan having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bünyamin Tengiroğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bünyamin Tengiroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samet Radi. Eskisehirspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bünyamin Tengiroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Erdem İmam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eskisehirspor's Samet Radi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nabi Tolgunay in the 64th minute of play. Fehmi Secaattin might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yiğitcan Onursan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fehmi Secaattin ran back to his position shaking his head. Yılmaz Onuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğitcan Onursan having to interfere. Erdem İmam was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Eskisehirspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 74th match minute, Eskisehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan Salur to maneuver through the defense. Yılmaz Onuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Yiğitcan Onursan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsnü Özduran in the 83rd minute of play forced Eskisehirspor's goalkeeper Samet Radi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Yılmaz Onuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eskisehirspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yılmaz Onuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Erdem İmam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yiğitcan Onursan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Yılmaz Onuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yiğitcan Onursan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erdem İmam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 94 minute of play. The Don Carleone fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eskisehirspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
