Arslan Demiralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nehirspor jk's Ciprian Tătăruşanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaptan Ökmen in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Ali Haydar Baray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vezirköprü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nehirspor jk the free kick. In the 8th minute, Ali Haydar Baray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Şenel İpekçi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kıvanç Cinel. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Serhat Torlak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nehirspor jk's supporters rose to their feet, but Serhat Torlak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Jordy Kerstens fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu, passed just outside the right post. Nehirspor jk's Ciprian Tătăruşanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Haydar Baray in the 28th minute of play. Ciprian Tătăruşanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arslan Demiralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Kaptan Ökmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Tătăruşanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vezirköprü booed when Nehirspor jk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfettin Evvel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nehirspor jk's Seyfullah Derelioğlu got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Arslan Demiralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vezirköprü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arslan Demiralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Vezirköprü's goalkeeper Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şenel İpekçi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Şenel İpekçi in the 51st minute of play forced Vezirköprü's goalkeeper Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Serhat Torlak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Şenel İpekçi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nehirspor jk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Vezirköprü getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vahdet Uğurtan hit a great ball. Nehirspor jk's Seyfettin Evvel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vezirköprü. Şenel İpekçi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Serhat Torlak notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vezirköprü's Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vezirköprü reached it. Şenel İpekçi might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şenel İpekçi ran back to his position shaking his head. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serhat Torlak in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Nehirspor jk's goal looked a bit too open when Arslan Demiralp came free, but Ciprian Tătăruşanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciprian Tătăruşanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galip Şahinter in the 91st minute. When Kaptan Ökmen fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vezirköprü's protests and gave Kaptan Ökmen a yellow card for diving instead. Kaptan Ökmen kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nehirspor jk fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vezirköprü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
