Talat Burçhan charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Talat Burçhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Poligom got a freekick which was hit by Talat Burçhan. Poligom's Çetin Akbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Bedri Yeğin in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Yıldıray Yanar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Çetin Akbilge. Poligom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yıldıray Yanar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 16 played minutes Poligom got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Midttun. 18 minutes into the game, Poligom's Sandro Checa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Recai Beren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 21st minute Kutay Temircan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çetin Akbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çetin Akbilge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Bedri Yeğin went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ali Nabi Beybolat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Çetin Akbilge made a huge save. If Sandro Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The supporters of Poligom booed when Istanbul Basaksehir FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutay Temircan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes Poligom got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Tano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldıray Yanar in the 57th minute of play forced Poligom's goalkeeper Çetin Akbilge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mehmet Bedri Yeğin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Istanbul Basaksehir FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Bedri Yeğin couldn't finish the play. Rolando Tano hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Mehmet Bedri Yeğin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Poligom's Çetin Akbilge didn't even have to move. The supporters of Poligom booed when Istanbul Basaksehir FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murat Selim Mazhar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes, Selçuk Yaren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poligom and the Istanbul Basaksehir FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Istanbul Basaksehir FK booed when Poligom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selçuk Yaren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çetin Akbilge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Beybolat in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rolando Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poligom's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Recai Beren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Recai Beren came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Poligom's Sandro Checa. But to his dismay, Sandro Checa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Poligom's Çetin Akbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldıray Yanar in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Istanbul Basaksehir FK booed when Poligom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vute Orlov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çetin Akbilge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldıray Yanar in the 89th minute of the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Sandro Checa from a close distance when the talented Recai Beren managed to make a qualified save. Istanbul Basaksehir FK's players were relieved. Kutay Temircan did an outstanding performance 95 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 4-2 to the right of an irritated Çetin Akbilge in the goal.
