Çetin Akbilge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Checa in the 6th minute of play. Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ata Tur's late challenge caught a Poligom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ata Tur helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes FC Dodo got a freekick which was hit by Ata Tur. Poligom were furious when Rolando Tano was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poligom! The supporters of Poligom booed when FC Dodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaptan Evcimen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Dodo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Namık Kemal Münib hit a great ball. Sandro Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz having to interfere. Çetin Akbilge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaptan Evcimen in the 27th minute of the match. Çetin Akbilge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murathan Ersed in the 29th minute. In the 29th match minute, FC Dodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaptan Evcimen to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Dodo defense, Samuel Midttun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz. The FC Dodo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dodo's goalkeeper Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Poligom's Çetin Akbilge got control of the ball when Murathan Ersed tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Cemal Hoyrat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaptan Evcimen made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Talat Burçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poligom's Çetin Akbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murathan Ersed in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute, Murathan Ersed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dodo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. FC Dodo's Ata Tur got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Ata Tur off the ground. A collision led to FC Dodo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ata Tur hit a great ball. Çetin Akbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Dilazad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çetin Akbilge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murathan Ersed in the 87th minute of play. Cemal Hoyrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Samuel Midttun came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Poligom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Midttun couldn't finish the play. If Cemal Hoyrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Murathan Ersed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çetin Akbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Poligom players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Dodo.
