Ferid Habiboğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaptan Evcimen's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Bünyamin Candaner kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeynel Somer, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Murathan Ersed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferid Habiboğlu having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kaptan Evcimen made the kick off in the second half. If Fetih Rasih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Hasan Hüseyin Akdeniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fetih Rasih's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Kaptan Evcimen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferid Habiboğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
