After a defensive mix-up in Istanbul Basaksehir FK's zone, Rolando Tano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Recai Beren came out of the goal and Rolando Tano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Samuel Midttun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recai Beren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çetin Akbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldıray Ozaner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sandro Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poligom's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Recai Beren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yıldıray Yanar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Çetin Akbilge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Istanbul Basaksehir FK's Yıldıray Yanar got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samuel Midttun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Poligom were victorious despite being under pressure from Istanbul Basaksehir FK for much of the match.
