In the 23rd match minute, Erzinspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürsel Derem to maneuver through the defense. Erzinspor's Ayvaz İlkim got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Sariyahsi got a freekick which was hit by Gökberk Tuncalp. After 32 minutes, Ahmet Sedat İpekçi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzinspor and the Sariyahsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Sedat İpekçi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Erzinspor's goal looked a bit too open when Taci Keyfer came free, but Mahir Özay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Sedat İpekçi to make the kick off. The Sariyahsi fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Sariyahsi's İsrafil Rıdvan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ahmet Vefik Şentürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayvaz İlkim's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sariyahsi's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Şentürk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İsrafil Rıdvan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Mahir Özay made a huge save. İsrafil Rıdvan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Mahir Özay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Şerafettin Ünlüer hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Levent Kalender recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Vefik Şentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayvaz İlkim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sariyahsi's Ahmet Vefik Şentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Sedat İpekçi in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ceyhan Oba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erzinspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
