Başar Şerafeddin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Dengizer in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Arıkhan in the 12th minute of play forced Balya FK's goalkeeper Şener İdris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Aykut Arıkhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener İdris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hasan Can Oncubay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balya FK's Şener İdris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Arıkhan in the 22nd minute of play. Hüsamettin Durcan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hasan Can Oncubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başar Şerafeddin having to interfere. Keramettin Muhammed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şener İdris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Birant Dengizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başar Şerafeddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halil İbrahim Eraltay hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birant Dengizer to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Balya FK's Batu Cem Işınbay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Başar Şerafeddin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Başar Şerafeddin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Dengizer in the 57th minute of play. Hasan Can Oncubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Başar Şerafeddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes DEMIREZEN got a freekick which was hit by Halil İbrahim Eraltay. 69 minutes into the match, DEMIREZEN's goal looked a bit too open when Birant Dengizer came free, but Başar Şerafeddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Birant Dengizer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Başar Şerafeddin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Birant Dengizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başar Şerafeddin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halil İbrahim Eraltay during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DEMIREZEN's Halil İbrahim Eraltay got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, DEMIREZEN's goal looked a bit too open when Birant Dengizer came free, but Başar Şerafeddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Vedat Toygun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Can Oncubay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DEMIREZEN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
