Sinex's Mansur Aktemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayvaz İlkim in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Felix Savier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinex's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erzinspor the free kick. Felix Savier kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Salih Salik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mansur Aktemur. Sinex's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ahmet Sedat İpekçi made a precise shot to the right of Mansur Aktemur. Sinex's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caradawg Eddington to make the kick off. Ahmet Sedat İpekçi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mansur Aktemur made a huge save. After having played for 57 minutes, Gürsel Derem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erzinspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürsel Derem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caradawg Eddington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mahir Özay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Sedat İpekçi got free with Mansur Aktemur in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Songurbey Balkır hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Sinex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serhat Kadim to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sinex's zone, Ahmet Sedat İpekçi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansur Aktemur came out of the goal and Ahmet Sedat İpekçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcu Moculescu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Moculescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Ulukut in the 87th minute of play forced Erzinspor's goalkeeper Mahir Özay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Sedat İpekçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansur Aktemur having to interfere. Ulaş Ulukut kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Erzinspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
