After 3 minutes of play, Balya FK's Birant Dengizer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bülent Akdurmuş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Müfit Şahbaz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Müfit Şahbaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Balya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müfit Şahbaz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Müfit Şahbaz in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bülent Akdurmuş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batu Cem Işınbay in the 11th minute of play forced Beşikdüzüspor FC's goalkeeper Bülent Akdurmuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Beşikdüzüspor FC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Kürşat Kutyan. Beşikdüzüspor FC's Bülent Akdurmuş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müfit Şahbaz in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müfit Şahbaz in the 32nd minute of play forced Beşikdüzüspor FC's goalkeeper Bülent Akdurmuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Beşikdüzüspor FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Narria. Bülent Akdurmuş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit Şahbaz in the 36th minute of the match. Karl-Axel Liljeström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Şener İdris when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl-Axel Liljeströms short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Şener İdris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Müfit Şahbaz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Axel Liljeström to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Birant Dengizer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bülent Akdurmuş, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Balya FK's Müfit Şahbaz got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Beşikdüzüspor FC's goalkeeper Bülent Akdurmuş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necaettin Suni. Abidin Özgebay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Hasan Can Oncubay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balya FK's attentive Erol Bayazid managed to snatch the ball when Yusuf Ziya Keramettin made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Bülent Akdurmuş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Batu Cem Işınbay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Birant Dengizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balya FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birant Dengizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Balya FK's zone, Karl-Axel Liljeström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şener İdris came out of the goal and Karl-Axel Liljeström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Müfit Şahbaz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Müfit Şahbaz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Cesar Narria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Balya FK got a corner. Beşikdüzüspor FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enginalp Kadirsah ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Balya FK's corner Birant Dengizer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bülent Akdurmuş quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Karl-Axel Liljeström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şener İdris was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The supporters of Beşikdüzüspor FC booed when Balya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Çağrı Erencan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Beşikdüzüspor FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Balya FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
