Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Muammer Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökalp Eskioğlu having to interfere. Ömer Kaymaz scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selami İşbilir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Gustav Säf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Binali Ballı suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 12 minutes, Eyüp Çağnur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sultanahmet SK and the Gökceyazi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eyüp Çağnur hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Ömer Kaymaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selami İşbilir was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Muammer Talayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gökalp Eskioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Ömer Kaymaz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gökceyazi's Selami İşbilir. Selami İşbilir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eyüp Çağnur might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selami İşbilir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eyüp Çağnur ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Danış Çanak charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Danış Çanak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Gökceyazi got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Danış Çanak. The supporters of Sultanahmet SK booed when Gökceyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Koçak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48thth minute of the game Ömer Kaymaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gökceyazi's Selami İşbilir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

52 minutes into the match, Gökceyazi's goalkeeper Selami İşbilir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ömer Kaymaz. After 60th play minutes Şinasi Lut shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Gökalp Eskioğlu and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şinasi Lut in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökalp Eskioğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 played minutes Gökceyazi got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Radi. In the 87th minute Muammer Talayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökalp Eskioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Osman Koçak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gökceyazi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sultanahmet SK the free kick.
