In the 10th minute, Cankurtaran JK's Gencay Tahir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferhat Eldemir during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferhat Eldemir kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Hayrullah İsmihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İstemihan Talaykan in the 19th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Ertaç Pekgöz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simental gücü and the Cankurtaran JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simental gücü's Şerafettin Çoğahan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Baytugay in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Simental gücü's Şerafettin Çoğahan got control of the ball when Gencay Tahir tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Eldemir in the 38th minute of play forced Simental gücü's goalkeeper Şerafettin Çoğahan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Cankurtaran JK got a freekick which was hit by Erdi Vecih. Tolunay Ahsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Şerafettin Çoğahan made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İstemihan Talaykan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet İlhan Erboy's late challenge caught a Simental gücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet İlhan Erboy helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Simental gücü a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mansur Akdağ, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cankurtaran JK's Hayrullah İsmihan. 1-1. After 62 minutes of play, Cankurtaran JK's Erdi Vecih made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şerafettin Çoğahan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Şerafettin Çoğahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhat Eldemir in the 67th minute of play. Şerafettin Çoğahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolunay Ahsen in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Tolunay Ahsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerafettin Çoğahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Fatih Şahsuvar hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hayrullah İsmihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adem Koralp in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, İstemihan Talaykan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simental gücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but İstemihan Talaykan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cankurtaran JK's zone, İstemihan Talaykan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayrullah İsmihan came out of the goal and İstemihan Talaykan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Simental gücü's Gürkan Muzaffer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Simental gücü defense, Gencay Tahir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şerafettin Çoğahan. The Simental gücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şerafettin Çoğahan should have stopped the shot. Tolunay Ahsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Cankurtaran JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlhan Erboy. İstemihan Talaykan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrullah İsmihan having to interfere.
