Reşat Hatmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. Reşat Hatmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Üzer in the 18th minute of play. Abdullatif Ocakçı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Black Eagle F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! 28 minutes into the game, FENERBAHÇE's Abdullatif Ocakçı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reşat Hatmi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Black Eagle F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Melih Cevdet Üzer came free, but Reşat Hatmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melih Cevdet Üzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Eagle F.C.'s Reşat Hatmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çelebi Kayaer in the 40th minute of play. Batıray Özbey hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, İzzettin Osman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but İzzettin Osman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Black Eagle F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfullah Elmas to maneuver through the defense. Melih Cevdet Üzer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Reşat Hatmi 57 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Abdullatif Ocakçı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melih Cevdet Üzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Hatmi having to interfere. Reşat Hatmi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melih Cevdet Üzer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Black Eagle F.C.'s goalkeeper Reşat Hatmi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melih Cevdet Üzer. With his leg Reşat Hatmi managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when FENERBAHÇE's Melih Cevdet Üzer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of FENERBAHÇE booed when Black Eagle F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aybar Ersed didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Melih Cevdet Üzer lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Reşat Hatmi. FENERBAHÇE played a much better game than Black Eagle F.C. and deserved their victory. The Black Eagle F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
