Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gürkan Seylab got the match started through his kick off. Reis Akkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duran Baytugay in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Ferhat Eldemir made a precise shot to the right of Reis Akkurt. Artvinspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Serhat Satıbey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hayrullah İsmihan having to make a save. Hayrullah İsmihan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gürkan Seylab showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. After 15 played minutes Artvinspor got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hamdi Bağışhan. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Artvinspor's Serhat Satıbey in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hayrullah İsmihan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cankurtaran JK through an amazing save. In the 24th minute Duran Baytugay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reis Akkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artvinspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferhat Eldemir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Artvinspor's Gürkan Seylab got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Fatih Şahsuvar charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Fatih Şahsuvar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehmet Fatih Şahsuvar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Zülfü Saik came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Artvinspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zülfü Saik couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürkan Seylab in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayrullah İsmihan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Ferhat Eldemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reis Akkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferhat Eldemir was the one to do the kick off. Gürkan Seylab struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hayrullah İsmihan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artvinspor. Gürkan Seylab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrullah İsmihan having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Ahmet İlhan Erboy threw the ball into play from the sideline. Artvinspor's Rauf Özakan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rauf Özakan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gencay Tahir fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cankurtaran JK's protests and gave Gencay Tahir a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the game, Zülfü Saik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hayrullah İsmihan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zülfü Saik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrullah İsmihan having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Arif Ensar Kultigin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reis Akkurt came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cankurtaran JK's Tolunay Ahsen. But to his dismay, Tolunay Ahsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serhat Satıbey in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayrullah İsmihan saved Cankurtaran JK from getting behind. The supporters of Artvinspor booed when Cankurtaran JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Elçioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Arif Ensar Kultigin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artvinspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Ensar Kultigin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Artvinspor manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cankurtaran JK to win.
