Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Konak got a freekick which was hit by Dinç Özdoru. In the 3rd minute of the match Karhan Şanalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Behlül Yılkan skillfully saved the ball. Behlül Yılkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencer Şensal in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Gökmen Karanalp made a precise shot to the right of Baybars Urangu. Merzifon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gökmen Karanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Baybars Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Göktürk Ülmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merzifon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Konak the free kick. Dinç Özdoru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Urangu having to interfere. Behlül Yılkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan in the 24th minute of play. Gökmen Karanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Baybars Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Merzifon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan to maneuver through the defense. Gökmen Karanalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baybars Urangu having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gökmen Karanalp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baybars Urangu. That made the score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan to strike the kick off in the second half. Konak's Behlül Yılkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Konak from getting a goal against them. Dinç Özdoru scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baybars Urangu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute of the match Karhan Şanalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Behlül Yılkan skillfully saved the ball. After 60 played minutes Merzifon got a freekick which was hit by Gencer Şensal. When Vecdet Ruşeni came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Konak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdet Ruşeni couldn't finish the play. Gökmen Karanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Gökmen Karanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Gökmen Karanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cihat Tuz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Behlül Yılkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Konak getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Esat Nezihi hit a great ball. Dinç Özdoru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Merzifon's Baybars Urangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökmen Karanalp in the 88th minute of play. Gencer Şensal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Behlül Yılkan made a huge save. Konak walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
