The Fenerbahçe fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Fenerbahçe's Vehdi Samin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ensar Batır to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ramazan Kelim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Güven Uçar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
