With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsnü Kubilay in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güven Uçar saved Fenerbahçe from getting behind. When ekinova fc's Severo Domenec in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbahçe's goalie prevented a goal. ekinova fc's Walter De Deygere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ensar Batır in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Ensar Batır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter De Deygere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güven Uçar came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ekinova fc's Cesur Tanırer. But to his dismay, Cesur Tanırer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. ekinova fc's Walter De Deygere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ensar Batır in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half ekinova fc were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ensar Batır to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, ekinova fc's Hüsnü Kubilay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Güven Uçar. Güven Uçar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. ekinova fc's Walter De Deygere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vehdi Samin in the 59th minute of play. Batı Yıldırımtürk kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Aurelio Serafini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Uçar having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Fuat Sayrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ekinova fc the free kick. The supporters of ekinova fc booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fuat Sayrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Cesur Tanırer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Güven Uçar, passed just outside the right post. Ensar Batır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Walter De Deygere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Vehdi Samin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter De Deygere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fenerbahçe's Ensar Batır got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Batı Yıldırımtürk. Güven Uçar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Serafini in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, ekinova fc's Aurelio Serafini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. ekinova fc's Walter De Deygere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vehdi Samin in the 92nd minute of play. Yavuz Selim Baştürk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walter De Deygere. ekinova fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over ekinova fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fenerbahçe throughout the match.
