In the 55th minute, Kadir Haneci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hezarfen JK's zone, Suat Ongar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmut Birdal came out of the goal and Suat Ongar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Suat Ongar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmut Birdal having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ataman Mahçupyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hezarfen JK's Kadir Haneci got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Ataman Mahçupyan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mahmut Birdal. Hezarfen JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ataman Mahçupyan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mahmut Birdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ataman Mahçupyan in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataman Mahçupyan in the 85th minute of play forced Hezarfen JK's goalkeeper Mahmut Birdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Cuma Şavat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cide Spor and the Hezarfen JK players grew even worse after the yellow card.
