Numan Taşkınay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Şiraz in the 4th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sivasspor jk! Bayındır Kabakçı kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Caner Katib's late challenge caught a Kastamonuspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caner Katib helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hayati Usal got free with Numan Taşkınay in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, Osman Nuri Tekcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kastamonuspor and the Sivasspor jk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şadi Seciye's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bass Sutens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Bass Sutens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şadi Seciye in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Halit Durkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kastamonuspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halit Durkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Numan Taşkınay didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Numan Taşkınay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caner Katib, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Caner Katib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Numan Taşkınay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Numan Taşkınay made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Kutlualp Başkurt sent off a good shot on target. Numan Taşkınay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kutlualp Başkurt went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şadi Seciye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Halit Durkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bass Sutens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kastamonuspor's Numan Taşkınay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Katib in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Kastamonuspor's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Katib came free, but Numan Taşkınay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cevdet Kalender kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Kastamonuspor's goal looked a bit too open when Gencay Şiraz came free, but Numan Taşkınay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Hayati Usal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Numan Taşkınay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caner Katib hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Şadi Seciye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bass Sutens made a huge save. Şadi Seciye showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Sivasspor jk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
