Gencay Şiraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hacı Ali Uraz having to interfere. Mehmet Bilge İleri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hacı Ali Uraz having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Kutlualp Başkurt notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Durusu's Hacı Ali Uraz. Hacı Ali Uraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sivasspor jk's Bass Sutens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Akif Evirgen in the 68th minute of play. Ahmet Seyfi Yanal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bass Sutens made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Mehmet Bilge İleri made a precise shot to the right of Hacı Ali Uraz. Durusu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. 77 minutes into the match, Sivasspor jk's goalkeeper Bass Sutens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Seyfi Yanal. The supporters of Durusu booed when Sivasspor jk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencay Şiraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivasspor jk's Kutlualp Başkurt got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Durusu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
