When Zikri Akboy came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ZonguldaKömürSk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zikri Akboy couldn't finish the play. Erbatur Atik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Anıl Cesimi having to interfere. Büyükorhan's Mehmet Anıl Cesimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Vedat Ortanca in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of ZonguldaKömürSk booed when Büyükorhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Seyyit Diriğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Büyükorhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saffet Çağnur to maneuver through the defense. The referee showed Vefa Huzur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ZonguldaKömürSk's Vefa Huzur got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The ZonguldaKömürSk fans cheered their team off the field, for while Büyükorhan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
