The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Oğuz Sehriyar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gürcan Satılmış charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürcan Satılmış the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orhan Veli Şimşektürk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. ShaolinSoccer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Bedir Alansoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 13th minute of the match Gürcan Satılmış completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gürcan Satılmış a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gürcan Satılmış hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. ShaolinSoccer were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Muratli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Özgür Toprak took the corner. After taking down the ball on ShaolinSoccer's corner Özgür Toprak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Onur Ali Kargin quite easily take care of the ball. Onur Ali Kargin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Veli Şimşektürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, ShaolinSoccer's Ahmet Oğuz Haylaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Onur Ali Kargin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Orhan Veli Şimşektürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur Ali Kargin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ShaolinSoccer getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ahmet Oğuz Haylaz hit a great ball. Fazıl Uçkun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Sehriyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Oğuzkan Güneş fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ShaolinSoccer's protests and gave Oğuzkan Güneş a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Oğuzkan Güneş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Şimşektürk in the 44th minute of play forced Muratli's goalkeeper Onur Ali Kargin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serter Ceviz during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Muratli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! Muratli's Onur Ali Kargin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Veli Şimşektürk in the 58th minute of play. ShaolinSoccer's Fazıl Uçkun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ShaolinSoccer from getting a goal against them. Orhan Veli Şimşektürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Orhan Veli Şimşektürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. ShaolinSoccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Veli Şimşektürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onur Ali Kargin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ShaolinSoccer's Oğuzkan Güneş got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Oğuzkan Güneş off the ground. In the 78th minute, Ahmet Oğuz Haylaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fazıl Uçkun came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Muratli's Oğuz Sehriyar. But to his dismay, Oğuz Sehriyar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Ahmet Korcan Sermet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Oğuz Sehriyar in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fazıl Uçkun had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Orhan Veli Şimşektürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabit Kuddusi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Orhan Veli Şimşektürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Onur Ali Kargin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
