Forest Bellamy's late challenge caught a Mazgirt FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Forest Bellamy helped the player get up and apologised. Forest Bellamy kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Sabri Dino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Ozan Acarsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sabri Dino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağatay Özercan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akay Koryürek kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Smýrni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulhamit Şakir to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ahmet Dursun took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alemdar Sağanalp. Alemdar Sağanalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Forest Bellamy hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anıl Ozan Acarsoy in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabri Dino saved Smýrni FC from getting behind. Lütfi Eke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sabri Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabri Dino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağatay Özercan in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Smýrni FC's Sabri Dino got control of the ball when Çağatay Özercan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alemdar Sağanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Dursun in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Smýrni FC's Ahmet Dursun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alemdar Sağanalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Smýrni FC's Ahmet Dursun in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alemdar Sağanalp guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alemdar Sağanalp came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Smýrni FC's Ahmet Dursun. But to his dismay, Ahmet Dursun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Abdulhamit Şakir charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulhamit Şakir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Smýrni FC! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Smýrni FC had won after a very even match.
