The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Doruk Elmacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Doruk Elmacı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aksoy FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Doruk Elmacı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sancarbey Kunter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ensar Aktaşoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Sancarbey Kunter made a huge save. After having played for 16 minutes, Cemal Serkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cemal Serkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cemal Serkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sancarbey Kunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doruk Elmacı in the 24th minute of the match. If Haluk Makul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ensar Aktaşoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Sancarbey Kunter made a huge save. In the 43rd minute of the match Zeynel Yaltıray sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özmen Süner skillfully saved the ball. Haluk Makul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özmen Süner having to interfere.

Doruk Elmacı took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sancarbey Kunter. Sancarbey Kunter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Haluk Makul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Aksoy FK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Doruk Elmacı hit a great ball. Haluk Makul might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Özmen Süner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haluk Makul ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Aksoy FK's goal looked a bit too open when Haluk Makul came free, but Özmen Süner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doruk Elmacı in the 78th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Sancarbey Kunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Hakan Oğuzbay during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aksoy FK booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hakan Oğuzbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Cemal Serkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Haluk Makul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aksoy FK's Özmen Süner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cemal Serkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Madrid were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Aksoy FK to leave the ground with a draw.
