When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Titan Palermo sped through Real Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sancarbey Kunter. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Muhammet Özerol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sancarbey Kunter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Titan Palermo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Muhammet Özerol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammet Özerol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Titan Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancarbey Kunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Titan Palermo took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sancarbey Kunter. Sancarbey Kunter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 95 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Titan Palermo came free, but Sancarbey Kunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
