In the 3rd minute Temel Canver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ant Dilsafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paşa Safi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özmen Süner saved Aksoy FK from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kurtuluşspor's Süreyya Yücesan in the 12th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Özmen Süner was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Aksoy FK through an amazing save. Kurtuluşspor:s Ant Dilsafa showed great skill when he stopped Müfit Uluğ:s penalty. 21 minutes into the match, Müfit Uluğ notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kurtuluşspor's Ant Dilsafa. Ant Dilsafa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ali Macit Çakıroğlu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurtuluşspor's protests and gave Ali Macit Çakıroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. 34 minutes into the match, Kurtuluşspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ensar Aktaşoğlu came free, but Ant Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Aksoy FK's protests and gave Fethi Turhan a yellow card for diving instead. Fethi Turhan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aksoy FK booed when Kurtuluşspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paşa Safi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Doruk Elmacı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurtuluşspor's Ant Dilsafa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Aksoy FK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doruk Elmacı to make the kick off. After 60 minutes, Avni Has mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurtuluşspor and the Aksoy FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Kurtuluşspor got a freekick which was hit by Avni Has. Doruk Elmacı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurtuluşspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Doruk Elmacı scored to the left of an out of position Ant Dilsafa, making the score, 1-4. 74 minutes into the match, Doruk Elmacı dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ant Dilsafa, 1-5. Ant Dilsafa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Temel Canver showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 77 minute of play. If Ali Macit Çakıroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
