Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melih Cevdet Yaygır kicked off to start the match. Süreyya Yücesan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aktaç Toköz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyfullah Uz's late challenge caught a Kurtuluşspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyfullah Uz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kurtuluşspor booed when Kovancilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfullah Uz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktaç Toköz came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Kurtuluşspor's Süreyya Yücesan. But to his dismay, Süreyya Yücesan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Süreyya Yücesan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Paşa Safi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurtuluşspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kovancilar's Kamber Tankut quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Franz Mainguet, made in the 28th minute of the game. Ant Dilsafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Yaygır, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Süreyya Yücesan made a precise shot to the right of Aktaç Toköz. Kovancilar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 35 minutes, Turgay Reşan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kovancilar and the Kurtuluşspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aktaç Toköz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kovancilar's zone, Süreyya Yücesan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aktaç Toköz came out of the goal and Süreyya Yücesan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paşa Safi in the 45th minute of play forced Kovancilar's goalkeeper Aktaç Toköz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Süreyya Yücesan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aktaç Toköz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The Kovancilar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kurtuluşspor were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paşa Safi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Turgay Reşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aktaç Toköz was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Süreyya Yücesan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Süreyya Yücesan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Kovancilar's attentive Kamber Tankut managed to snatch the ball when Franz Mainguet made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. The throw-in from Franz Mainguet in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kovancilar's Kamber Tankut. In the 61st match minute, Kurtuluşspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahir Şerafeddin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurtuluşspor's Süreyya Yücesan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aktaç Toköz. That made the score 0-7 after 63 minutes of play. Paşa Safi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Macit Çakıroğlu in the 70th minute of play forced Kovancilar's goalkeeper Aktaç Toköz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kovancilar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kamber Tankut hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Kurtuluşspor's Paşa Safi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aktaç Toköz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 84 minutes into the match, Kovancilar's goal looked a bit too open when Süreyya Yücesan came free, but Aktaç Toköz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paşa Safi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Süreyya Yücesan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aktaç Toköz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Kovancilar's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Mainguet came free, but Aktaç Toköz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Kurtuluşspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kovancilar.
