In the 33rd minute, Erkin Çimen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doğan Alemdar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafız Kutunalp in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in niğDELİ's zone, Umut Ulukaan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Marquez came out of the goal and Umut Ulukaan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armandinho Munhoz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Armandinho Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. niğDELİ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kayserispor the free kick. After 46 played minutes niğDELİ got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Munhoz. Jeremias Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz Bülent Akduman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kayserispor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. niğDELİ were winning 0-2.
