Gabriel Ignado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Abdulkadir Orcan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdulkadir Orcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murathan Saim's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Gabriel Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th match minute, Mimi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulaziz Tümay to maneuver through the defense. Samim Bürgehan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derviş Gökyüzü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çelebi Temizsoy got free with Abdulkadir Orcan in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mimi SK's Abdulkadir Orcan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mimi SK from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Kunter Aksel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When pendik's Murathan Saim in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mimi SK's goalie prevented a goal. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Ignado to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Ignado hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Murathan Saim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Orcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. pendik were furious when Ladislao Benat was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Abdulaziz Tümay charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulaziz Tümay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdulkadir Orcan had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Ignado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of pendik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mimi SK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Samim Bürgehan, was totally fooled by Mimi SK's Abdulaziz Tümay, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şahap Seralp in the 83rd minute of play forced pendik's goalkeeper Samim Bürgehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Mimi SK got a freekick which was hit by Kunter Aksel. Samim Bürgehan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahap Seralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Samim Bürgehan came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Mimi SK's Mustafa Oğuz Yaldırak. But to his dismay, Mustafa Oğuz Yaldırak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Mimi SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mimi SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
