Spectators: 7654 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 100) Eskişehirspor's Ruhi Sabuncu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruhi Sabuncu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cevdet Özsungur came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruhi Sabuncu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. After 7 minutes, Seyfi Ziverbey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guguk Kuşu and the Eskişehirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guguk Kuşu's Seyfi Ziverbey got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Eskişehirspor booed when Guguk Kuşu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökhun Yetkiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruhi Sabuncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevdet Özsungur having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Guguk Kuşu's goalkeeper Cevdet Özsungur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erdal Sanak. Cevdet Özsungur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz in the 18th minute of the match. Eskişehirspor were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Guguk Kuşu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cezmi Ruşeni took the corner. Eskişehirspor's Cezmi Ruşeni was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cevdet Özsungur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cezmi Ruşeni made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ruhi Sabuncu. In the 29th match minute, Guguk Kuşu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim User to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Ruhi Sabuncu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eskişehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The Eskişehirspor fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Eskişehirspor's Ruhi Sabuncu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the match, Gökhun Yetkiner notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Eskişehirspor's Ivan Matias. Ivan Matias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökhun Yetkiner in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökhun Yetkiner in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Matias saved Eskişehirspor from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökhun Yetkiner in the 46th minute of play forced Eskişehirspor's goalkeeper Ivan Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gökhun Yetkiner to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ruhi Sabuncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guguk Kuşu's zone, Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevdet Özsungur came out of the goal and Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cevdet Özsungur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aykan Songur went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Aykan Songur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevdet Özsungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guguk Kuşu getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. İbrahim User hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruhi Sabuncu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cevdet Özsungur saved Guguk Kuşu from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, Eskişehirspor's Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cevdet Özsungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 74th minute, Aykan Songur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykan Songur took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevdet Özsungur. Cevdet Özsungur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eskişehirspor's Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Guguk Kuşu's Cevdet Özsungur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykan Songur in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Eskişehirspor were awarded a corner. Cezmi Ruşeni went to the cornerflag to take it. Yılmaz Talayman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ivan Matias made a huge save. Cevdet Özsungur came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Eskişehirspor's Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz. But to his dismay, Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Ivan Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökhun Yetkiner in the 95th minute of the match.
