Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eskişehirspor's Ruhi Sabuncu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Harbiye's Cecep Dewa in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eskişehirspor's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 minutes of play, Eskişehirspor's Aykan Songur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Behzat İlighan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Behzat İlighan having to make a save. Behzat İlighan came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskişehirspor's Aykan Songur. But to his dismay, Aykan Songur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 21st minute, Ruhi Sabuncu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Behzat İlighan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Cecep Dewa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ivan Matias made a huge save. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskişehirspor's goalkeeper Ivan Matias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sungurhan Giyas charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sungurhan Giyas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Harbiye got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Giyas. After some careless play in the Harbiye defense, Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Behzat İlighan. The Harbiye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Behzat İlighan should have stopped the shot. Sungurhan Giyas got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. It was beautiful to see Eskişehirspor's Cezmi Ruşeni in action when he in the 41st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

The wind increased when Yahya Kemal Torcan made the kick off in the second half. Aykan Songur had several of the Harbiye's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Behzat İlighan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Behzat İlighan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykan Songur in the 63rd minute of the match. Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Behzat İlighan came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 67th minute. Behzat İlighan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykan Songur in the 72nd minute of play. Erdal Sanak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th play minute Aykan Songur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Behzat İlighan. 0-9. Behzat İlighan came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskişehirspor's Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz. But to his dismay, Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Behzat İlighan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ruhi Sabuncu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eskişehirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruhi Sabuncu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Behzat İlighan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Gündüz Karadeniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Eskişehirspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Harbiye throughout the match.
