Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gökhun Yetkiner got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Harbiye's zone, Seyfi Ziverbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behzat İlighan came out of the goal and Seyfi Ziverbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gökhun Yetkiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11thth minute of the game Gökhun Yetkiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harbiye's Behzat İlighan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harbiye's Bayındır Toktamış quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Özbek Akyol, made in the 17th minute of the game. When Guguk Kuşu's Gökhun Yetkiner in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harbiye's goalie prevented a goal. Aybek Köksal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Seyfi Ziverbey in the 24th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Behzat İlighan's left hand side. Cevdet Özsungur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecep Dewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31stth minute of the game Gökhun Yetkiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harbiye's Behzat İlighan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yahya Kemal Torcan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gökhun Yetkiner struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Behzat İlighan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guguk Kuşu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökhun Yetkiner in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behzat İlighan saved Harbiye from getting behind. Seyfi Ziverbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Gökhun Yetkiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzat İlighan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökhun Yetkiner in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behzat İlighan saved Harbiye from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Harbiye's goal looked a bit too open when Gökhun Yetkiner came free, but Behzat İlighan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cecep Dewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cecep Dewa made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Harbiye's goalkeeper Behzat İlighan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yılmaz Talayman. After 54 minutes, Cecep Dewa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harbiye and the Guguk Kuşu players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Seyfi Ziverbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behzat İlighan made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gökhun Yetkiner sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the game, Harbiye's Yahya Kemal Torcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cevdet Özsungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 64 minutes into the match, Harbiye's goal looked a bit too open when Gökhun Yetkiner came free, but Behzat İlighan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seyfi Ziverbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Yılmaz Talayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guguk Kuşu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yılmaz Talayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Yılmaz Talayman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Guguk Kuşu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yılmaz Talayman couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Gökhun Yetkiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzat İlighan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Behzat İlighan was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Gökhun Yetkiner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gökhun Yetkiner really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 90 minutes into the game, Tan Özdeğer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Harbiye's Bayındır Toktamış quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cevdet Özsungur came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Harbiye's Bayındır Toktamış. But to his dismay, Bayındır Toktamış quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Guguk Kuşu's attentive İbrahim User managed to snatch the ball when Şerafettin Üstay made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Behzat İlighan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökhun Yetkiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Guguk Kuşu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Harbiye throughout the match.
