He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 22nd minute, Kutlay Adaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Çağatay Haliç was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cuma Mirza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Erzurumspor SK! In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Erzurumspor SK's goalkeeper Çağatay Haliç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the game's 45th minute Kömürspor's Adnan Çağan took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Çağatay Haliç and thus the score was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aziz Yaver was the one to do the kick off. Orkun Elçin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kömürspor's Orkun Elçin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğaner Tamerkin in the 65th minute of play. Alemdar Semih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erzurumspor SK's Çağatay Haliç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutlay Adaş in the 70th minute of play. Çağatay Haliç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutlay Adaş in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Erzurumspor SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alemdar Semih to maneuver through the defense. Atıf Mengübay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Doğaner Tamerkin ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Kömürspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alemdar Semih came free, but Orkun Elçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aziz Yaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orkun Elçin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Yaver in the 95th minute of the match. Orkun Elçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alemdar Semih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
